In an effort to help flesh out this website, as well as bring attention to some of my older videos that maybe not all of you have seen, I want to start making posts for past videos like this one. If you’re only interested in seeing BRAND NEW videos, I’ll make sure to mention at the top of each post if this is a REPOST or a NEW submission!
I’m also attaching categories and tags to each submission, so if you’re interested in a certain topic/person/etc, you should be able to search by the related tag! On Sunday September 17th, 2017, I attended the “Slutwalk Portland 2017” where I recorded the speakers and some interviews with others in attendance! I’m uploading the whole thing as a composite video here to try to stay within my 5gb/week Vimeo limit, I will also be uploading the sections separately to Youtube if you want to see them in 1080p.
I will add more information to this description after I have talked with the speakers to find out what info they want me to link to. For now, here is the description from the Slutwalk 2017 Facebook event page:
SlutWalk is a movement of protest marches which began on April 3, 2011, in response to a Toronto, Ontario police officer, Constable Michael Sanguinetti, suggesting that “women should avoid dressing like sluts in order not to be victimized.” It has since spread to rallies around the world, where participants protest the victim-blaming and sex-shaming that is common in our society.
Our Mission: Sexual assault affects everyone in the community, and some people require more support and resources than others. We know that LGBTQI youth, people of color, sex workers, and disabled people are the most likely to experience victimization, and we want to address this publicly.
How We Protest: Our peaceful demonstration creates a welcoming and safe space available for survivors, victims, allies and advocates to broaden the discussion around sexual assault, domestic violence, and the need for consent and communication. Much like Portland Pride, we have clearly marked Peacekeepers in attendance.

Elle Stanger – is a SlutwalkPortland co-organizer, sex worker and podcast host of UnzippedPDX.
J.D. Dowell – is a Seattle based Activist, loud mouth, and internet personality.
Carlene Ostegaard – is the only IPSA certified partner surrogate in Oregon.
Kat Salas – is a Yaqui/ Chicanx sex worker living, fighting, and being a queer slut in the city of Portland Oregon.
Sterling Clark – is a SlutwalkPortland co-organizer, and artist.
